Two Lives, One Path
I have two biographies
—and they seem worlds apart.
My first life began with the question: “Is this it?”, after I finished an education that left me completely uninspired.
So I went on a journey that quickly took me to places I couldn't have imagined: Into an Indian ashram, across the peaks of the Himalayas, through the American Wild West, and even into the Burmese backcountry, where I sold vintage cars, motorcycles and engine parts to German collectors.
In the beginning I had set out to learn how to meditate. And I did. But I also learned how to navigate uncertainty, build connection across cultures, and live without a safety net. I learned to probe, examine and question my depths, meet my fears and discover what is real and unchanging at my core.
In learning to recognize that in myself, I learned to see it in others.

My second life started there—with this foundation. I returned to the West with very little formal business education, network, or credentials. I started out as an assistant to a pharmaceutical executive who brought me on board for my strong English skills and my experience navigating cultural dynamics.
I advanced quickly in my work, fueled by my passion, curiosity and my genuine excitement. How intriguing to immerse myself and learn about the inner mechanics and complex environment of a pharmaceutical multinational organization! I applied myself to learn in depth about their research, decision making processes, and strategic people management.
I was motivated to contribute more meaningfully and felt eager to integrate the insights and interpersonal skills, that I gained on my journeys. And I wanted to start working directly with people.
Soon I was selected and trained to facilitate my first leadership development initiatives. Within just two years I was already leading global corporate training programs for this company.
Seven years later, I stepped out on my own—and created my own business. I built an international career as a trainer, consultant, and executive coach. Since then I’ve delivered leadership programs across the world, facilitated team development for major organizations and stood on stages before thousands of people.
